Twin spot emergency lights are typically installed at critical points such as corners along evacuation routes, above designated emergency exits, and on each landing within stairwells to ensure two-way coverage. Fixtures should be spaced no more than 20 meters apart to avoid dark spots. In long, straight corridors, it is recommended to install them in an alternating pattern to provide even illumination without unnecessary overlap.

Regular maintenance includes cleaning the diffusers monthly, testing the emergency activation function, and recording battery voltage readings to confirm they remain at or above 80% of the rated capacity. Batteries should be replaced annually if they show signs of aging. For units installed outdoors or in damp areas, it is important to inspect waterproof gaskets periodically to maintain a proper seal.
