Save money with this 2-in-1 emergency lighting solution, combining an exit sign and emergency light in one durable, low-maintenance unit. Exit sign and emergency light combo units are designed with long-lasting, low-maintenance nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) batteries and support 120V or 277V AC input. Each unit features a single or double faceplate, with removable left/right directional arrows for flexible installation. Both red and green letter panels are included to meet varying local code requirements.

Tested and UL listed, these combo fixtures comply with NFPA 101, OSHA, and UL 924 emergency regulations. Commonly installed in shopping malls, hospitals, subway stations, airports, and high-rise building corridors, they offer continuous or flashing illumination and directional guidance to ensure safe and efficient evacuation during power outages or low-visibility conditions.

According to NFPA 101-Life Safety Code, emergency lighting systems must undergo a functional test for at least 30 seconds every month, as well as a full 90-minute illumination test once per year.

  • Initial use: After installation, the unit should be charged for 12 to 24 hours to fully activate the battery.
  • Environmental suitability: For indoor use, a minimum of IP30 is recommended. In damp environments, use fixtures rated IP65 or higher.
  • Wiring setup: Ensure the main power and emergency power sources are wired independently to avoid short circuits or poor connections.
