LED Emergency Drivers

LED emergency drivers are available in durable steel or ABS enclosures and operate on dual voltage input (120V/277VAC). Each unit includes a built-in nickel-cadmium (Ni-Cd) battery that provides at least 90 minutes of emergency power. Designed to deliver constant output ranging from 4W to 8.5W, these drivers are compatible with most LED loads. UL and cULus certified, they are widely used in emergency lighting systems across shopping centers, hospitals, schools, subways, and office buildings. In the event of a power failure, the driver automatically switches to emergency mode, ensuring uninterrupted illumination and safety compliance.

  • Built-in battery drivers are integrated into LED fixtures and are suitable for newly designed lighting products.
  • External battery drivers are installed separately and ideal for retrofitting existing LED systems.

Select a driver based on input voltage and output wattage compatibility with your LED fixtures. Ensure the battery capacity supports at least 90 minutes of operation. For humid environments, choose models with IP65 or higher protection ratings.

In high-vibration environments, continuous shaking may cause solder joints to loosen or battery connections to fail. Use drivers with anti-vibration connectors and secure mounting brackets to prevent dislodgement during operation.
